Children: We are fortunate that all children and grandchildren are living in the Winnipeg area.

Daughter Allison and Son Jonathan are both grads of U of M.  Allison is Pediatric Nephrologist at Winnipeg Children's Hospital, Health Sciences Centre (HSC).  Jonathan is a software engineer.  Stepson Mike is water and sewer technologist for a neighbouring municipality.

 Grandchildren:  Brody 17, Luke 14, Lexi 18, Kendley 13, Roan 10, Emmy 8, Maeve 5

Dennis worked until his 65 th year.  He keeps active with various activities.  He played hockey into his 75 th year but stepped away  from the game due to some shoulder problems.  Winter activities include curling, X country skiing, virtual cycling, and duplicate bridge.  Summer activities include golf, cycling, and paddling.  Lots of time is spent attending grandkids activities, enjoying family gatherings and cooking.  Lifestyle changed this spring with the dreaded downsizing and sale of house and move into an apartment, less than 1 mile from the house we lived in for 30 years.

Since retirement from the school division, there has been a modest amount of travel on cruises, some bus tours and road trips, short vacations in Hawaii, cycle tourism, and cottage life on Lake Winnipeg.
