Rockcliffe managing Dakota, Musketeer and 707 fleets.

Command Winnipeg managing heavy transport fleets, 707 and Hercules, for four years.
Posted to Moose Jaw
supporting pilot training with 121 School Tutors, 13 Snowbirds and 3 Base
Rescue Hueys.
After two years, sent to
Staff College, Toronto for the year and then to CFB Borden AERE Squadron
training new officers.
Posted to Winnipeg, 14
Training Group HQ overseeing technical training at Borden and Field Technical
Training Units across Canada.
After two years, moved
across the airfield to Air Command responsible for Air Transport fleet
maintenance standards.
Four years later, posted to
NDHQ Ottawa Quality Assurance Policy Directorate. After two years, assigned to
NDHQ Rockliffe engineering and maintenance directorate for air transport and
helicopter fleets of aircraft.
Four more years and was
assigned to NDHQ/Chief of Air Staff personnel generation and training and three
years later retired with 35 years of service.
After a break,joined a
project office managing air projects including the Airbus Tanker modification,
procuring new C130J aircraft for the air force, and finally retiring in 2013.
Married Janice in Winnipeg
in 1972 who has shared these travels for the past 52 years and we have settled
in our last home in Arnprior, Ontario. We have three children, four
grandchildren and one great granddaughter.
