1969 Review |
1965 – Laurentian High School (Ottawa) - MVP, running back, city of Ottawa 1965. Team Captain, High School City Champs.
1965-1968 - Royal Military College of Canada, my first year at RMC was also Doug Hargreaves first year as RMC head football coach. Before the end of my first season Coach Hargreaves had me playing both ways - halfback on offence, defensive back on defence. During my four years at RMC I started every single RMC game, in my final season I was team captain and an OQIFC all-star halfback - the other halfback was Larry Smith who football fans know well. I also played rugby, JV Hockey and boxed at RMC (note, all are contact sports).
